Ready Solar is seeking a Product Line Engineer to take the leadership role in managing the lifecycles of the company’s flagship product lines, the Ready Solar® and Solar in a Box® residential solar energy systems. The Product Line Engineer will be responsible for product management functions for these product families, including but not limited to:
• Prioritizing and designing and/or sourcing product enhancements,
• Developing requirements based on customer input and market data,
• Testing new product elements (both theoretical and live testing),
• Developing customer documentation and support materials,
• Working with Sales and Production to identify new product and service enhancement opportunities.
• Performing structural analysis for the overall product, for wind loading, airflow, cooling and other relevant environmental effects
• Monitoring technical and cost trends in the solar industry and providing design direction on how to apply them to Ready Solar products
• Develop, maintain and communicate product development schedules for the Ready Solar team |
