ICF International specializes in addressing issues at the nexus of transportation and energy, economic development, and the environment. We focus on assisting clients with the design and implementation of solutions using our skills in transportation planning, land use planning, environmental science, economics, policy analysis, and communications. Much of our work involves the application of transportation, economic analysis, and environmental impact assessment methodologies to evaluate the direct and indirect impacts of infrastructure projects, service programs, and government policy.
Our San Francisco office is currently seeking a Manager of Transportation Planning & Policy. Job requirements will include managing projects, staff and resources, client management, and proposal writing.
Potential project work assignments include:
Identifying opportunities to integrate climate change into transportation planning
Developing cost-effective strategies to reduce emissions from transportation sources
Assessing the economic benefits of railroad system improvements
Evaluating the effects of land use and urban design changes on transportation and emissions
Analyzing and promoting greenhouse gas reduction measures
Writing guidance for government agencies on transportation and environmental topics
Facilitating workshops on transportation and environmental subjects |
